JumpStarter, organized by the Alibaba Entrepreneurs Fund (AEF), has established itself as a prominent and flagship startup event in Hong Kong. This year’s edition was particularly remarkable, as it took place in a stunning venue overlooking the picturesque Hong Kong harbour. The theme was “Tech by the Harbour”. Impressive and amazing!
The highlight of the event was the pitch competition, where the top 30 startups, meticulously chosen from a pool of global entries, showcased their ideas with utmost dedication. It was an immense honor for me to serve as a judge during one of the final rounds, representing DaLa – Data Literacy Association (DaLa), a proud supporting organization of the event. I was delighted to have encountered familiar faces among the members of the judging panel like Mingles Tsoi, Jaff Lau, Jimmy Tao , Andy Li, Michael T. B. Chan, Johnny Chan, Anita Chau, Carman Chan, Ricky Lee, Bond Chan and a few others.
I extend my warmest congratulations to Cindy Chow, Teddy Lui, and the entire team at Alibaba Entrepreneurs Fund for their exceptional work. Year after year, we witness remarkable progress, innovation, and groundbreaking ideas, and it fills us with gratitude and appreciation. Your achievements have brought immense pride to the startup ecosystem of Hong Kong.
