In spite of the adverse weather conditions, this year’s Global Youth Entrepreneurs Forum was successfully held on 13 and 14 June. It was gratifying to see the enthusiasm of 1,000 participants from over 30 regions and countries who gathered in Hong Kong and Qianhai, Shenzhen (E Hub) to learn, share and experience. In this video, Dr. Toa Charm Ka-ieong (湛家揚博士), Chief Public Mission Officer of the Hong Kong Cyberport Management Company Limited, shared his views about FinTech.

Tencent Holdings-backed WeChat Pay is ramping up its expansion outside mainland China with new initiatives to extend the use of its mobile payment services to taxis and merchants in Hong Kong.
WeChat Pay Hong Kong unveiled a series of payment solutions for daily transactions, announcing that its service can now be used to pay for taxi fare and settle bills in the city.
