Schroders is orienting its business toward providing more value to its wholesale distributors, including those in China. This is the impetus to the firm’s recent acquisition of a minority stake in Singapore-based robo advisor WeInvest, says Lieven Debruyne, the firm’s Asia-Pacific CEO.

CUPP aims to nurture local university students on FinTech entrepreneurship through a bootcamp in a top foreign university. We went to Stanford University Graduate School of Business in the last 3 years. It is the 4th year of our CUPP and we are going to another world-leading business school – The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
The students will take a series of training on FinTech before their US trip. Classes will be delivered by FinTech startups, financial services company, BIG4, technology experts, regulators. The students will join the bootcamp in Chicago and visit top FinTech and technology companies there. Experienced mentors will help students. Students will present their final prototypes and business plan in 3 months. The winners will be awarded seed funds from Cyberport to help the students realize their dreams.
