𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐔𝐧𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐤 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐚
Together, we “𝐝𝐨 𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬” for Hong Kong. I’m so grateful to bring innovative leaders including Ryan Lai (foodpanda), Alan Lai (PetSpaceGroup), Susanna Chiu (Bonjour), Edward Wu (WeLab) and Michael Wong (HairCoSys) together to explore cross-industry business collaboration and data monetization. “𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐨𝐭𝐬” is the secret sauce of data monetization. We have come up with some fantastic initiatives to kick off!
Even more amazing is that Ryan, Alan and Susanna are all CUHK EMBA alumni and students. I am so proud of them and very grateful being a professor of the program.
We gathered in the vibrant and amazing Foodpanda Hong Kong office with my favorite Pau Pau (the lovely pink panda). Heartfelt thanks to Ryan, Carmen Yip, and their teammates at Foodpanda for hosting us, sharing their experiences, and openly exploring potential opportunities. Also thank my teammates Thomas Lam (foodpanda) and Ivan Ng (OCHA) to work with me on this data monetization project for foodpanda in the last few months.
