What a wonderful evening with our CUHK EMBA 2027 cohort at the Tang Ancestral Hall, celebrating the Nine Great Dishes dinner (ไนๅคง็ฐ‹) and welcoming the upcoming Year of the Horse together.

The Tang Ancestral Hall carries remarkable cultural weight. The Tang family is one of Hong Kongโ€™s Five Great Clans, with roots in the New Territories stretching back over 900 years โ€” nearly a millennium of heritage. Their ancestral halls stand as living symbols of lineage, community, and the enduring values of unity and respect. Holding our gathering in such a historic setting added depth and meaning to the entire evening.

The night was filled with the richness of Chinese tradition โ€” from our festive โ€œred as possibleโ€ theme to writing our own fai chun (ๆฎๆ˜ฅ). Even more meaningful was the joy, laughter, and the strengthening bonds within our EMBA family. Itโ€™s inspiring to see this cohort growing closer and more connected.

I was also delighted to see alumni such as Macy Chan, Jane L. joining us, helping build bridges across cohorts and reinforcing the enduring CUHK EMBA spirit.

My heartfelt thanks to our class representatives Christoffer Tang, Flora Long and Cherry Sam for organizing such a thoughtful and memorable gathering. And a special appreciation to our CUHK legend, Professor Arthur Li, for gracing the evening with his wisdom and presence.

Wishing everyone a prosperous, energetic, and inspiring Year of the Horse. Looking forward to many more shared moments of learning, connection, and growth.
