Grateful for the opportunity to visit the Hong Kong Legislative Council (LegCo) and gain a deeper understanding of how our city’s laws and policies are shaped.

A heartfelt thank you to Dr Hon Webster NG, JP, Legislative Councillor, for hosting us and guiding us through key meetings where important discussions and decision‑making take place. We also had the privilege to briefly meet the President of LegCo, Dr. Starry Lee Wai‑king, along with other Councillors including Priscilla Lau, Robert Lee, and more. Their openness and insights helped us better understand how we can collaborate to contribute to our industries and society.

The architecture and interior design of LegCo were equally impressive — from the thoughtful spatial layout to the cultural and sustainability elements embedded throughout the building. Many corners reflect Hong Kong’s LegCo heritage while embracing modern governance values.

During our visit, we noticed several groups touring LegCo at the same time — from young students to professionals and academia. It is encouraging to see such broad engagement. Early exposure and open communication help build understanding, trust, and stronger dialogue around policy and law‑making, which is healthy for Hong Kong’s long‑term development.

I joined this visit with the #PolyU DBA Alumni Association, representing #CityU DBA AA. Both DBA communities share a strong commitment to learning, collaboration, and creating positive impact for Hong Kong. Thank you Lianne and Corinna, the leaders of PolyU DBA AA, for organizing such an inspiring and meaningful experience.

Looking forward to more joint initiatives that help us grow, connect, and contribute to the future of our city.
