Sky City: DALA’s Study Trip to the Sky City, Hong Kong
Believing is often reinforced through firsthand experiences, which is why DALA – Data & AI Literacy Association (DaLa) regularly organizes study visits to different companies. These visits offer valuable insights into diverse business models, customer experiences, operations, innovation, and the use of data and AI. Since our inception in November 2022, we have embarked on study visits to renowned establishments such as Galaxy, ICBC and UMAC in Macau, Li and Fung, Jockey Club, and most recently, the 11 SKIES.
11 SKIES is a game-changing retailtainment destination. It holds immense strategic significance for Hong Kong’s tourism and retail industries, as it forms an integral part of the overarching Airport City development, providing easy access to GBA and international clientele. Overwhelming enrollment of this visit to the 11 SKIES was received. We all enthusiastically joined this tour, eager to explore the current and future facilities, and anticipate the future prospects of one of Asia’s most exciting projects. The underlying strategy around connectivity to the Airport, hotels, Expo centre and other major scenic spots nearby with invaluable access to the GBA and international visitors were impressive. We have seen more than what you could see in the photos as some fantastic scenes are yet open to the public. Thanks 11 SKIES`s team for building such a wonderful and impactful signature landmark for Hong Kong.
