I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to share my experience at Alibaba Group Alibabaโs headquarters in Alibaba Hangzhouโone of mainland Chinaโs most vibrant innovation hubs.
Speaking with top entrepreneurs and Alibaba colleagues, I explored how we can accelerate business growth to the world. The energy, passion, and interactive exchanges reminded me of the power of collaboration and vision.

I emphasized how critical ecosystems are in driving sustainable growth. Hong Kong today is no longer just about finance and propertyโit is evolving into a committed innovation and technology hub. With a vibrant and effective ecosystem, we are helping businesses expand globally.

I introduced key enablers in our ecosystem, including ITIB DPO OASES, InvestHK, HKEx, Cyberport, HKSTP, HKFoundation, HKTDC, HKPC, certainly major universities, and more. Certainly, I talked about the exciting vision of our Northern Metropolis, which will further strengthen Hong Kongโs role as a global innovation powerhouse.

My key message was clear: collaboration between Shanghai/Hangzhou and Hong Kong/Shenzhen will co-create tremendous opportunities. Together, we can establish stronger leadership on the world stage and unlock new horizons for entrepreneurs and innovators.

I was inspired by a simple yet profound symbol: a Chinese hand fan inscribed with the words โ๐๐ซ๐๐๐ฆ ๐ข๐ฌ ๐ง๐๐๐๐๐, ๐๐ง๐ ๐ฐ๐ก๐๐ญ ๐ข๐ ๐ข๐ญ ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐๐ฌ ๐ญ๐ซ๐ฎ๐ ๐จ๐ง๐ ๐๐๐ฒ.โ This message captures the essence of entrepreneurship and innovation. Just like the fan spreads a refreshing breeze, dreams spread energy and hope. And when ecosystems and collaboration turn those dreams into reality, the impact can be felt worldwide.
