Every time I visit #Hangzhou (HZ), I’m reminded that this is not just a tech hub — it is a living innovation #ecosystem. The energy, ambition, and density of talent here create a cycle of innovation that keeps accelerating. Alibaba didn’t grow one tree. It grew a forest in HZ.

This trip with #Prudential gave us a close look at the 6 little dragons & Alibaba’s latest AI. It was eye‑opening not only for insurance executives but even for a tech veteran like me. Truly impressive. A heartfelt thank to Lawrence Lam, Benny Tsoi, Jenny Chan and Affa Ho for their leadership, all the participants for their passion to learn & partners for their support especially my teammates from CUHK Executive Education.

A pioneer in vertical LLMs for education, healthcare, law & public services. Instead of chasing general‑purpose models, iFlytek focuses on domain‑specific accuracy where real‑world outcomes matter. With 20+ years of deep domain data & advanced voice-to-text NLP technologies, they show that the future of # AI isn’t about the biggest model — but the most useful model for the right domain.

Alibaba’s ecosystem drives talent circulation, open platforms, entrepreneurial culture & capital networks — and now powers China’s enterprise AI through its LLM family Qwen (通義千問). Qwen is deeply integrated into real business scenarios across Alibaba’s digital universe — from enterprise intelligence to multimodal tasks, coding agents, and edge deployment. It is not just a model — it is a strategic asset amplifying the entire Alibaba ecosystem.

HZ is becoming one of the most exciting innovation hubs in China and indeed the world. Visiting gives leaders new benchmarks, new urgency & new possibilities. It will change how they lead & grow in the AI era.
