A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Kuan-Thye SEAN and the Asiaโ€‘wide HR leaders from The Conference Board of Asia for joining our DALA Executive Lunch and Learn โ€” and to all the Hong Kong HR leaders brought together by DALA – Data & AI Literacy Association DALA.

Together, we created a rare and golden opportunity: a truly crossโ€‘border dialogue where global, regional and local HR leaders could learn from each other, compare realities, and exchange solutions. A heartfelt thank to our panel speakers: Handi Kurniawan PTBank , Rebecca Wong Panasonic, and Dr. Victor Ng OpenCertHubAcademy. Your sharing has brought us inspiring insights to lead people and culture transformation in the AI era.

What struck me most was this. Across Asia, the challenges are surprisingly similar, but the ways we solve them are wonderfully diverse. Thatโ€™s the beauty of bringing Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Australia and certainly Hong Kong perspectives into one room.

– No clear career path in the AI era
Instead of defining rigid ladders, we should be empowering colleagues with AI so they can shape their own future roles, even create entirely new jobs.

– Gen Z and Gen Alpha will not follow traditional junior roles
AI gives them leverage, speed, and creativity far beyond what previous generations had. They can contribute differently, add value earlier, and redefine what โ€œentryโ€‘levelโ€ means.

– Job redesign is no longer optional
Itโ€™s a continuous process as AI reshapes workflows, expectations, and capabilities.

– Mindset matters as much as skillset
Curiosity, adaptability, and courage are becoming the new currency of talent.

– AI inclusion is pivotal
Democratizing AI Literacy to not just white collar but also blue collar, not just university students but also the underprivileged.

– And a lot more..

What made this forum special?
The warmth, happiness, and passion in the room were unmistakable. HR leaders across Asia are not just adapting โ€” they are leading this unprecedented workforce transformation with heart and conviction.

Pleased to see and exchange experience with our heartful HR leaders from Hong Kong including Jessica Tse ASWatson, Sarah Cheuk FanoLabs, Jo L. Colliers, Joey Chung HaiTong, Edith Yeung CIGNA, Joanna Chan CLP, Miko Cheung Lawsgroup, Cherie L. AberdeenMarinaClub, Ellen Lo KnightFrank, Nikhil Nangia Peninsula, Elaine Wang DALA, and many others.

Thank you again to everyone who joined us. Letโ€™s continue building a futureโ€‘ready, AIโ€‘empowered talent ecosystem across Hong Kong and the region.
