Pleased to have shared my thoughts on the Soul of Innovation in the Age of AI at the HKIM x DBS CEO Luncheon. Appreciate Han Wong, the Data Leader of DBS, to have had an inspiring chat with me.

Heartfelt thanks to Dr. Michael Chan and Lucia Cheung Hong Kong Institute of Marketing (HKIM), and Patrick Lau DBS Bank for organizing such an inspiring gathering. As a HKIM Fellow and DALA Founding Chairman, I was truly grateful to exchange ideas with top leaders in such a relaxed and engaging setting.



Many leaders see AI as just a tool—but unlocking its full value requires more than familiarity with the tools and prompt engineering. To truly gain customer loyalty, grow revenue, and reduce costs, we must place humans at the center of AI innovation.

I highlighted three key areas of human-centered innovation:
🔍 Scaling personalization to the mass market
🤝 Making services not only faster but also kinder
❤️ Recognizing moments to proactively care for customers
