Grateful to have completed the Oxford AI Ethics, Regulation & Compliance Programme โ€” a meaningful milestone in strengthening my mission to advise board members and senior leaders to deliver responsible AI across Asia.

As AI evolves rapidly โ€” from GenAI to AgenticAI and PhysicalAI โ€” one truth becomes clearer: Innovation must be matched with strong governance, ethical foundations, and global awareness.

For years, Iโ€™ve been searching for a programme that could deepen my understanding of AI governance on top of my existing experience in AI technologies and applications. This programme delivered exactly that. It provided a rigorous, holistic view of global AI governance. The programme was not long but intensive (not easy) โ€” with deep readings, exercises, quizzes, and casework. It was indeed incredibly rewarding. Iโ€™m glad to have completed it. https://lnkd.in/gzMYvYrN

Europe may not lead in AI technologies but is leading the world in AI governance, ethics and compilance areas, not only through the EU AI Act and GDPR, but also through broader accomplishments such as the Digital Services Act, Digital Markets Act, pioneering AI sandboxes, and internationally influential standards for trustworthy AI. These frameworks set global benchmarks for transparency, accountability, and fairness.

A heartfelt thankโ€‘you to the Saรฏd Business School, University of Oxford SaรฏdBusinessSchool OxfordSBS team for the thoughtful course design and guidance throughout the journey.

Inspired to bring these insights back to Asia and continue building a future where AI is innovative, inclusive, and responsibly governed.ย
