𝐋𝐚𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐱 3.0 – 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠

We are proud to officially launch Corporate Innovation Index (#CII #CII3) 3.0 — a milestone built on four years of dedication led by Prof. Waiman Cheung and our core team, Prof. CK Chan, Prof. Dominic Chan, Prof. 吳靖 and Patrick S Lee from CUHK Business School and CUHK Executive Education

I am deeply honoured to have co-initiated this journey with Patrick Lee. Our mission has always been clear: empower enterprises, SMEs, and startups to thrive. Yet, as 𝐏𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐃𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐫 𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐮𝐬, “𝐈𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐭, 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐢𝐭.” This insight inspired us to create CII — tailored for the Hong Kong landscape — to help leaders drive meaningful change through measurable innovation.

With the guidance, funding, and support of the CUHK Business School, HKSAR Government and industry partners, we proudly present our third edition. This year, we are privileged to have Chris Au Young, one of Hong Kong’s most prominent innovation leaders, as Chairman of the Steering Committee. Chris has been with us since Day One, and his leadership will undoubtedly elevate CII to new heights.

Appreciate Dr. Wendy Lam from #HKGCC and Henry L. from #Cyberport to have had a panel discussion with me on how effective our current policy, initiatives and funding have been to support innovation in Hong Kong and what we can do more down the road. A heartfelt thank to all current and past Steering Committee members, industry partners and all CII participants. Look forward to your participation and contribution this year with our CII 3.0. A special thank to our CII colleagues behind the scene.

Looking ahead, with richer data accumulated over the past two years and the power of AI technologies, CII 3.0 will further strengthen the innovativeness and competitiveness of Hong Kong companies. Together, we are shaping a more impactful future.
