𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗶𝗻 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗿!
I had the incredible opportunity to speak to hundreds of young secondary school students in Macau about the exciting world of **Data Career**. I emphasized the importance and business value of data in today’s digital economy. Traditional companies must transform and monetize their most valuable asset: data. To escalate our games and competitiveness, we need more data experts and data-literate young generation in the AI era.
Macau is also on a transformative journey, diversifying beyond its gaming industry with the “1+4” Strategy. This strategy focuses on:
1️⃣ Building a world-class tourism and leisure center.
2️⃣ Promoting four key industries: healthcare, modern finance, high technology, and cultural and sports sectors.
Data, innovation and technology are crucial in empowering these industries. As a member of the Technology Council of Macau SAR Government, an Honorary Advisor at the Faculty of Business of the Macau Science and Technology University, and Founding Chairman of DALA – Data & AI Literacy Association (DaLa), I’m so pleased and grateful to help our future generation understand the market, develop the right mindset, and acquire the skills needed to support our industry’s diversification.
