Today at the AWS Hong Kong Summit, I witnessed a truly vibrant community come together. Executives, solution providers, developers, and startups all gathered to explore emerging technologies and real‑world applications across different industries.

Through conversations with participants, I picked up several bright ideas and fresh inspirations — especially around AI, GenAI, and AI Agents, which are clearly becoming core drivers of innovation across sectors.

One of my favourite moments was the real‑time hackathon, with hundreds of developers filling the entire conference hall to compete, create, and push boundaries. The energy was incredible.

This summit not only strengthens the AWS ecosystem — it also fuels the continued growth of Hong Kong’s innovation and technology landscape.

Congratulations to the AWS team — Chris So, Andy Chan, Jacqueline Chong, Alvin Cheung, Patrick Leung and many others — for delivering such an excellent event. It was also wonderful to reconnect with so many partners and friends.

Let’s continue working together to grow Hong Kong’s innovation and technology ecosystem. DALA – Data & AI Literacy Association #DALA will continue collaborating with AWS team to empower the community with data and AI literacy.
