𝐀𝐬 𝐚𝐧 𝐈𝐍𝐄𝐃, 𝐈 𝐁𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐈 𝐄𝐫𝐚 𝐃𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐔𝐬 — 𝐒𝐨 𝐈 𝐂𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐄𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐩 𝐌𝐲𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭’𝐬 𝐀𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐝

Serving as an Independent Non‑Executive Director at TransUnion Credit Information Services #TUCIS been an invaluable journey. I contribute to the board, but I also learn deeply from TransUnion’s disciplined and professional approach to risk management, compliance, data governance, and internal control. Their standards set a benchmark for how modern organisations should operate.

But the reality is clear:
In the AI era, we are entering a landscape of unprecedented risks — risks that traditional finance‑ or legal‑centric INED backgrounds alone cannot fully address.

AI introduces new governance challenges:
– Algorithmic bias and ethical exposure
– Data poisoning, model drift, and AI supply‑chain risks
– Cybersecurity threats amplified by generative AI
– New regulatory frameworks such as ISO/IEC 42001
– Board‑level accountability for AI‑driven decisions

To fulfil my responsibilities as an INED in this new environment, I chose to strengthen my capabilities and completed:
– 𝐎𝐱𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐀𝐈 𝐄𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐬, 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 & 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐞
– 𝐇𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐄𝐃𝐀 𝐈𝐍𝐄𝐃 𝐄𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞

And I am now advancing further with the 𝐠𝐥𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐏𝐌𝐈 𝐀𝐈 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 & 𝐌𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐝𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, which is fast becoming an international standard for AI‑era leadership. Thanks for the incredible work from Dr. Kelvin Wan, PMP #PMI and Dave Chen, Hong Kong Computer Society #HKCS.

These programmes help me deepen my ability to:

💡Oversee AI governance frameworks with confidence

💡Support organisations in navigating AI responsibly and sustainably
